From a quick capture to useful knowledge

Save public URLs, Markdown, notes, and browser selections. Second keeps canonical Markdown with content revisions, extraction status, and retry controls. Supported sources include articles, YouTube, Reddit, GitHub, and Hacker News; extraction depends on source access and available content.

New captures start in Inbox unless you explicitly choose a destination. Re-saving an active URL can reuse or repair its existing capture; separate Markdown saves remain separate Items.

Supported save workflows retain original bytes alongside Markdown, with download and export support. Retention, text extraction, and search readiness have separate statuses. Unsupported formats can remain downloadable originals; PDF extraction may be partial.

Organize by what you are doing: project goals and deadlines, ongoing area standards, and reference resources. Nest and reorder destinations, complete projects, and archive inactive work.

Review rule-based and AI filing suggestions before accepting them. Move items individually or in bulk, use keyboard triage, and undo supported actions. Archiving keeps content searchable; permanent deletion is a separate action.

Keep a short Daily Focus list, review Inbox debt and stale projects, and revisit completed work. Enable the weekly email digest and choose review settings when you want an email recap.

Search across your workspace with Direct results, semantic AI results, and paginated, typo-tolerant Matches. Narrow the scope with filters and open the captured content rather than relying on the original site.

Ask the assistant about your knowledge, reopen conversation history, or start a chat from Search. Search-backed chats pin the eligible matching Items and their revisions; AI-generated Items are excluded unless you include them.

Turn eligible Search matches into a saved Brief using a template. Generation continues on the server if you close the app, with progress and recovery in Background Work. Sources and provenance stay attached to the result.

Write personalization context, import Markdown as a draft, and choose which version to activate. Edit, deactivate, restore, or delete profile history from Settings.

Use the web dashboard, keyboard shortcuts, theme controls, and command palette. The Apple silicon Mac app adds a local encrypted content store, menu-bar capture, global hotkey, native imports, and optional cloud sync. Connected AI needs a network.

On Mac, capture voice and audio, extract screenshot text, import files, and connect Apple Notes with the required permissions. Work in global or contextual agent threads, review proposed actions, and inspect generated artifacts and work that needs attention. The direct-download Mac app does not include the Apple Share extension.

The iOS 17+ companion includes capture, Inbox, PARA, Search, Assistant, a widget, share sheet, Shortcuts, and on-device dictation and screenshot OCR. Pending captures stay on the device and retry when the app can connect; the connected library needs a network. Public App Store distribution is still in preparation.

Capture pages, selections, and tab sets with the Chrome extension, or script captures and imports with the CLI and API. Connect Notion or import Apple Notes on Mac. The Obsidian plugin and Safari extension have limited distribution; check Integrations before choosing an install path.

Connect compatible MCP clients with read, save, or organize access to selected destinations or the library. Supported workflows include versioned retrieval, supplied-content saves, original files, organization proposals with history and undo, and handoff context. Host capabilities vary.

Use email and password or a registered passkey, manage sessions and API tokens, and inspect connected-app permissions. Narrow or revoke an AI connection in Integrations. Legacy API tokens carry broader access, so share them only with trusted tools.

Settings → Plan & usage shows your account access and recorded usage. The current beta has no public paid checkout. If you receive a complimentary invitation, redeem it on the web with a verified email; access belongs to that account and is recognized when you sign in on supported apps.

Download a library ZIP with canonical Markdown, retained originals, PARA data, Daily Focus, AI Profile history, and review activity. The manifest identifies missing, corrupt, reference-only, or unfinished material.

Delete conversations, remove individual Items, reset account data, or delete your account. Onboarding is optional and can be replayed. Cloud sync and AI processing are not end-to-end encrypted; the privacy policy explains where information goes.
